andGrowing up in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Dr. Rosemarie Niznik always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. Her teachers and classmates were made aware of her future career goals as early as grade school! She had several pets as a child and enjoyed taking care of them. Her parents encouraged her studies and interest in the veterinary medical field.

She was active in the pre-veterinary club, Kappa Phi Christen Service Sorority, and Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society. Dr. Rosemarie Niznik attended veterinary school at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in Athens, Georgia.
